I am in my last semester of college. It feels weird to say that. Its true though, after 4 1/2 years, 1 year abroad, and 125 credit hours later I'll be done. Grad school is up next but why dwell on the future? The present is whats important. As it is my last semester here at Southern I feel that there are a number of things I still haven't done. Case in point-I'm not married. Nor do I have any prospects. How do you like that mom? About to graduate from a SDA college and no good little Adventist wife? Ah well, theres always grad school...
There are some things that I want to do before I graduate. Things that I should have done long ago or things that are kind of dumb but sound fun.
1. I want to visit all the Chattanooga famous spots that I haven't gone to since I've been here. I want to go to the Aquariam. I want to visit Lookout Mountain. I STILL haven't visited Rock City.
2. I want to go to more convocations. This may be the lamest item on my list but its true. Alot of weird and random convocations come through Southern. I usually skip quite a few. Last year I missed seeing Mitch Album. The guy who wrote "Tuesdays With Morrie"! This semester I don't want to miss seeing any quasi-celebrities.
3. I want to spend a night in the library. I've often wondered if they check thoroughly each night. Its time I find that out.
4. I want to get a massage from the massuese in the Wellness Center. I am a Son of Subsidy. Since I get subsidy I can get an actual massage for next to nothing there. I need to take advantage of this.
5. Do something to Campus Safety... Nothing super over-the-top. Maybe call them one night at Brock Hall and request to be escorted back to my apartment in the Stateside housing. Not sure...
This list will grow I'm sure as the days go on. Its a bittersweet list. Sweet because its one last shot of fun but bitter due to the reason behind it.
